We talk about the difference between financial freedom, time freedom, and retirement.  If it is a new career you seek, this is when you do it as you now have the freedom & time to do so.  Passive income, dividends, trading, stock invest ...any of them can get you to financial freedom, but not all of them can get you to time freedom.
