While working in sales at IBM, he spent nights & weekends studying the stock market. The studying eventually paid off; in 2002, the dream that many people have was achieved…he walked away from the j-o-b at age 40.
Over the years, people kept asking, “Can you show me how?”. Those kitchen table sessions evolved to become ProfitsOnWallStreet, a stock market workshop that teaches the methods he uses.
Whether it’s real estate or the stock market, he saw that most people focus on the “how to do” of investing. Unfortunately, they don’t recognize the reality that “how to think” is about 95% of the equation. That incorrect focus might explain why so few people are able to achieve time freedom.
A graduate of the workshop suggested creating a podcast to address the “how to think”…and that’s how InvestingFromTheBeach was born.
He had a goal to retire before turning 30; He rushed it and failed; he retired at 31.
At 19 years old, he saw the power of the stock market and started to dabble. Through countless hours of studying, many heartaches and internal struggles, he was able to achieve time freedom. After about 10 years working at IBM, he left at the start of 2012 and never looked back.
He understands that success in everything we do is 95% “how to think” and only 5% “how to do”. He realizes that if people understand and apply the “how to think” part, there is no reason for them not to achieve time freedom in a much shorter period of time. Chris Hanson, whom he met at IBM, was a strong wind in his sail throughout the process. He is grateful for being exposed to such thinking and joins Chris in sharing the message through InvestingFromTheBeach.
